Horse Race Theme --- 30s 40s Vintage Necktie

A racing or equestrian themed is handsomely stitched onto this dark green tie. This Wembley necktie was produced in the late 30's to early 40's as it has the hallmarks of both eras: There is no facing on the underside and the tips sport machine stitched hems (typical of 1930's neckwear), while the length and novelty theme are more typical of tie made in the 1940's. Also attached are a vintage and a modern dry cleaning tag side by side!
