Teal Green - Brand New 1920s 1930s Necktie

This solid green color necktie is brand new with a wrapper which reads, 'Quality Cravats, Hand Tailored, True Bias, Specially Constructed to Guarantee Longer Wear, Rayon'. Furthermore, the fabric tag reads, 'Hand Tailored, Resilient Construction, Pat. No. 1.447,090, Feb. 27, 1923'. Jesse Langsdorf received his patent for manufacturing ties using resilient construction, which makes them lay flatter and wear longer and which dates this tie post 1924. This new tie is very short, has no facing on the underside, and both tips bear machine stitched finishing hems, hallmarks of 20's and 30's era ties. A wonderful collector accessory. 3.5x45.5inches (SKU# T10952)---Because this necktie still has its original tag, we can confidently say that it has never been worn.
