Unique Blue Design - New Skinny 30s 40s Tie

This tie features a blue and white design against a navy background. It is brand new with a wrapper which reads, 'Quality Cravats, Hand Tailored, True Bias, Specially Constructed to Guarantee Longer Wear, Rayon'. The fabric tag reads, 'Hand Tailored, Resilient Construction, Pat. No. 1.447,090, Feb. 27, 1923'm which is the year Mr. Langsdorf received his patent for manufacturing neckwear using resilient construction, which makes ties lay flatter and wear longer. This neck tie is very SHORT and is made with facing on the underside of the tip, an indication that this is a late 1930's to early 1940's transitional tie, since it features the manufacturing hallmarks of both eras. An identical necktie which is a quarter of an inch wider and one inch longer is available below. 3x45inches (SKU# T15083)---Because this necktie still has its original tag, we can confidently say that it has never been worn. However, it is not technically a 'new' tie. All our ties are acquired from private collectors or other resale sources.
